After more than a decade of constant art shows, I held my last show in 2012. Since then, I've had many projects and experiences to occupy my time, but the painter in me has felt a void in my soul. Over the course of my painting career, I evolved in my technique and my paintings became more detail-oriented. My shows also became more professional as my entrepreneurial spirit took over.

Preparing for an art show was always a pleasure for me, but the changes in my life over the last few years made it difficult to maintain the stability I need to paint. I decided it was time to get back to it, and I finished my first new piece in five years. My perspective has evolved in the last five years, and my paintings have become more political, even bordering on disturbing, with a deeper message. In the next several months, I will add six new pieces to the collection in preparation for my first art show since 2012. Now is the time.
